  • About Us

Launched in 1998, the Benin Education Fund (BEF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit that has provided scholarships and educational support to over 450 students in Benin.

BEF programs are primarily funded through donations from dozens of individuals in the U.S. and Canada. We also receive in-kind support, including office space and school supplies, from several individuals and organizations in Benin.

BEF partners include California Inside Out, the International Monetary Fund’s Civic Program, the U.S. Peace Corps in Benin, and the Edelman Family Foundation.
