Management Leadership for Tomorrow - Houston

Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) is a national non-profit organization that has made ground-breaking progress toward addressing the dramatic under-representation of minorities in leadership positions and in the institutions that develop top-notch talent, such as Tier 1 universities, top-tier MBA programs and Fortune 50 companies. MLT’s programs provide young people with the skills, personalized road map, experience, relationships, and coaching they need to realize their career potential by focusing on the key transition points: high school to college, college to early career, early career to MBA and MBA to executive suite.

Founded in 2005, MLT-Houston (www.ML4T.org/Houston) engages highly-motivated African American and Hispanic high school students and current leaders in Houston in a year-long business and civic leadership program. In partnership with several of Houston’s leading corporations, foundations and universities, MLT-Houston is developing a generation of leaders with the knowledge, capacity and desire to guide Houston into the 21st century.

MLT-Houston is the first and only regional initiative. MLT-Houston is responsible for implementing the Houston Fellows Program and recruiting/hosting local events for MLT’s national programs. MLT-Houston has an aggressive growth plan, focused on expanding its existing programs and adding new offerings.
