MaineShare

MaineShare ( www.maineshare.org) is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving social and economic equity and environmental protection. Our mission is to provide significant support to organizations doing progressive social justice and root cause work in Maine and to raise public awareness of their work. MaineShare gives people an easy way to donate to over 40 statewide organizations working everyday to make Maine a better place to live. Through payroll giving contributions and direct gifts, our donors help these organizations achieve good health, environmental protection, safe communities, economic opportunity, human rights, animal welfare, peace, and much more. Through our partnerships with over 100 workplaces across Maine, employees are provided the opportunity to contribute through their paychecks to causes they care deeply about. MaineShare distributes funding to member groups that they can use as they need to further their important efforts for all of Maine.
