About us

Princeton in Africa (PiAf) is an independent non-profit organization based in Princeton, NJ. Our mission is to develop young leaders committed to Africa's advancement. We seek to achieve this by placing bright, hardworking, passionate recent college graduates with our incredible host organizations for yearlong fellowship opportunities across the African continent. Our program is open to recent graduates from any college or university accredited in the U.S., and our fellowship organizations include large organizations like the International Rescue Committee and Clinton Health Access Initiative, as well as smaller start-ups and grassroots organizations, and even multinational companies. During our 2015-16 fellowship year, we have 51 Fellows from 38 different colleges and universities working with 31 organizations in 15 African countries.
