What is ECOG?
One of the largest clinical cancer research organizations in the U.S., ECOG designs, monitors and manages clinical trials aimed at finding new and better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancers in adults. Funded in large part by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), we work with 6000-7000 physicians, nurses, pharmacists, statisticians, and clinical research associates (CRAs) from the U.S. and internationally. Currently, ECOG has more than 90 active clinical trials in all types of adult cancers. Our studies treat more than 6,000 patients per year, many for whom standard therapies have not been effective and few other options remain available.
What is Frontier Science?
Frontier Science is a non-profit research foundation established in 1975. Frontier Science provides administrative oversight and management to ECOG and also provides an outstanding benefit package to ECOG employees.
