Illuminated Cities Project

  • About Us

The Illuminated Cities Project is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with young people, especially those from communities affected by segregation. Our project utilizes travel as a catalyst for youth and community development.

For our pilot project in December 2012, ICP took three fellows and two mentors from the segregation affected areas of metro-Detroit and Chicago to Mexico City. Based on positive feedback from fellows, we continued our work.

Currently, our key travel program is Citizen Journalism.
