About Us

The Lycée Français de Chicago has been providing a world-class education to American and international students since 1995. Beginning in pre-K and continuing through grade 12, our students thrive in a unique multicultural, dual-language learning environment where instruction is provided in French and English.

The Lycée’s curricula culminates in world renowned diploma programs. Students can choose to follow either the French Baccalaureate or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program, both highly regarded for their rigor and strength in preparing students for university and beyond. The IB program is offered to students in grades 9–12.

Through the multilingual curriculum and international exposure, Lycée students become equipped to meet the challenges of an increasingly global world, whether they are pursuing college admission, competitive careers, or their life endeavors.
