Oregon Literacy's mission is to advance Literacy through access, advocacy and alliances

Oregon Literacy, Inc. (OLI) believes in the power of words. In today's economy, literacy not only opens up social doors; it is the key to unlocking a successful career.
OLI serves as a clearinghouse for literacy by connecting local programs with students and volunteers. We also advocate for those in need of improved literacy skills. Through a number of outreach efforts we function as a connection between the people of Oregon and the politicians. Additionally, we seek to build and expand a web of alliances that aid and support one another in the struggle for literacy. These alliances are essential in creating a dynamic and thriving community that is committed to our mission.
