At the time of its inception, in 1986, PROTOTYPES was the first of its kind to address the physical, mental and emotional needs of women and children. Now seen as a national model for its program offerings, services and treatment methodologies, PROTOTYPES provides innovative health, mental health and social services to more than 15,000 women, children and communities affected by substance abuse, mental illness, and domestic violence.
