Master of Public Policy:
A two-year masters program designed for both students early in their career or mid-career professionals. A 39-credit dual degree option is available with law (JD), business (MBA), environment (MEM) and medicine (MD) either at Duke or UNC. The MPP program prepares students for public service in the government, non-profit or private sector: MPPadmit@duke.edu.
PhD in Public Policy:
The PhD in Public Policy is an applied, interdisciplinary social science degree. Graduates of the program are prepared for professional positions in domestic and international public agencies, research organizations and policy consulting firms, and for academic positions in public policy, public administration and other policy-oriented schools.
