Our mission is to create, perform, and promote music that aims to expand democracy in the United States and in the rest of the world, so that ordinary people–of whatever race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, national origin, and immigration status– will have a voice in their nation’s decisions, and will be entitled to decent lives, decent jobs, and decent education.
