Ability Beyond Disability

Ability Beyond Disability is a 501{c} (3) organization founded in 1953 and headquartered in Bethel, Conn. and Mount Kisco, N.Y. The majority of the people served are youth and adults with disabilities including, but not limited to: developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, acquired brain injuries, mental illness, Down syndrome and/or physical impairments. Ability Beyond Disability offers a variety of services including residential support, employment training, career counseling, job placement services, cognitive and life skills instruction, clinical and therapeutic support, and volunteer and recreational activities. Today, its services extend into much of Connecticut and the Hudson Valley, New York. The organization strives to help people with all abilities live full and rewarding lives in the community.
