The Westfield Foundation (NJ)

The Westfield Foundation's purpose is to promote the betterment of the Westfield (NJ) community and the enhancement of the quality of life for all of its citizens. It does this by building a permanent endowment for the community, funding grants to local area non-profit organizations and programs, managing endowment funds for other non-profit organizations, managing scholarship and field of interest funds and supporting local projects such as the summer youth employment project. The Foundation holds over 68 individual funds, consisting of unrestricted funds (from which grants are made), field of interest and scholarship funds, donor-advised funds and managed funds. No grants are made to individuals, or to religious organizations for religious activities, or to other organizations for legislative activities or political campaigns.
