About us

The mission of CASA of Philadelphia County is to train and support community volunteers to advocate for the safety, health, stability and well-being of abused and neglected children.

CASA is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established in Philadelphia County in 2006 with a mandate to provide screened, trained and supervised volunteers to advocate for safe, permanent and nurturing homes for abused and neglected children under the protection of Philadelphia's Family Court. The organization is part of a national network of independently run CASA organizations that utilize a proven model for improving outcomes for children in the foster care system.
