About us

Our mission is to enhance the understanding of the ecology, culture and history of Lake Champlain and its watershed through learning and discovery. All of our programs develop environmental awareness and create better stewards of our Basin and other basins throughout the world.

We are currently constructing a new state-of-the-art facility to be opened in May 2003. The new Center will contain 2,200 live animals surrounded by over 100 hands-on exhibits in nearly 30,000 square feet of space with spectacular views of Lake Champlain.

We are looking for volunteers right now!
