About Us

Trinity Church in the City of Boston is an Episcopal Church, home parish to approximately 3,000 households. It is a place of worship and prayer, and a hub for social and justice ministries. This includes opportunities for members to volunteer their time and talents, as well as a granting process that contributes to grassroots organizations working for social and economic justice. We are a part of the worldwide Anglican communion, with 70 million members. Our parish home is also a national landmark building that serves as a cherished part of the physical heritage for the city of Boston. In a usual year, we would welcome 70,000 tourists through our doors, and our annual “Candlelight Carols” services anticipating Christmas have been a staple of New England’s holiday season since 1909.
