The World Transportation Relief Project

About Us

Transportation can make a big difference for those living in poor countries, particularly from a health standpoint. In addition, poor countries have been ignored when it comes to the issue of environmental sustainability.

As you read this, women and children in these countries are walking many miles for water, food and medical care. Every hour spent by a child to retrieve these necessities is an hour away from a classroom.

The World Transportation Project, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides clean-air, solar-charged transportation and training to those living poor countries around the world. This mode of transportation helps in many ways -- that we all take for granted on a daily basis -- without having to use scarce and expensive gasoline or emitting harmful pollution.

Transporting and delivering necessities -- water, food, medicine Transporting and delivering people -- doctors, patients, students Transporting and delivering goods -- equipment, tools, seeds, books, supplies
