Sustainable Youth Development Partnership (SYDP) from Tanzania

Sustainable Youth Development Partnership (SYDP) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making organization originally formed by students from various higher learning institutions in Tanzania. Founded in February 10, 2001 it became fully registered under the Societies Ordinance Act of 1954 with Certificate no SO.NO.11929 of March 2003.SYDP works with Out of School Youth in DSM and Kibaha. In Kibaha the SYDP offices are temporarily situated at Mlandizi where the Out of School Youth Network (OOSY) head office is located at about 64 km from Dar es Salaam. In DSM the office is Located at the Centre for Youth as Resources in Kinondoni adjacent to Vijana Social Hall

MISSION STATEMENT Connecting youth positively to their communities and improving community life nationally and internationally through the spread of youth–led service initiatives. And most importantly "empowering youth to create a better world for all"and utilizing the available resources for their own development.
