Butterflies With Voices

Since the foundation of Butterflies With Voices, it has been the mission of our founders to actively serve young women, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral strife in the states of Conneticut, Virginia, and New York. It has become our vision to unlock the potential of these young women by instilling our seven pount visionaries: Self-awareness, Humbleness, wisdom, Kindness, Fairhfulness, Motivation, and loyalty.

It is our vision to have our futures understand the importance of their education, their role in public service and the importance of standing up for what she believes in; to help our futures become the women they wish to be by living out their dreams while remaining modest and admirable; to assist our futures in making healthy, positive and progressive choices; to teach our futures all about compassion, generosity, love and respect; to build lifelong friendships that our futures can rely on while constructing their dependability in order to understand their values and morals; to learn from our futures and allow them to be an inspiration in our live; and to be devoted, consistent, and positive role models

Butterflies With Voices is a mentoring program for girls between the ages of 13-17, who are experiencing emotional or behavioral strife. Every month we provide these girls one to one mentoring, life skills workshops, and bonding events. We build a supportive family environment for our Futures and assist them in improving their lives. We introduce many of our girls to volunteering around the community and educate them about other cultures with our cultural festival. Our volunteer mentors will assist us in carrying out this mission. We will meet with the girls for a minimum of three times per month for two hours each meeting for a total of ten months.
