Foster Care to Success: America's College Fund For Foster Youth

Founded in 1981, Foster Care to Success: America's College Fund for Foster Youth (formerly Orphan Foundation of America (OFA)) serves thousands of foster youth across the United States annually. Each year, Foster Care to Success (FC2S) awards more than $15 million in scholarships and grants and is contractually linked with ten state departments of social services.

Foster Care to Success is dedicated to helping former foster youth find pathways to success through higher education. FC2S' mission is to help foster youth attend and complete post-secondary education and prepare them to successfully enter the workforce. To accomplish this mission, FC2S raises public awareness and engages citizens, businesses, and civic organizations in the lives of foster youth to support their goals with scholarships, care packages, mentoring and coaching, internships, and career readiness programs.
