    Latinas Against FDNY Cuts/LAFC/FireAnts is a grass-roots coalition of volunteer individuals and organizations concerned about the destructive force of fire.

    FireAnts include community board members and residents, labor and community development organizations, clergy, students, elected officials, retired or visiting firefighters and survivors, relatives and neighbors of fires.

    FireAnts coalition volunteers and organizations include survivors, relatives and neighbors of fires, clergy, students, elected officials, and labor and local organizations. LAFC reports on impacts of fire and fire safety cuts on minority populations, health, poverty, homelessness to City Council, Community Boards, organizations.
