Since 1983, California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform ( CANHR ) has been fighting for the rights of nursing home residents in California, through community education, legislation and litigation.
Recipient of the 1989 California Works! award and the first annual Americas Award, CANHR is a nationally recognized model of consumer advocacy.
