Underwood After School Program, Inc.

About Us

The Underwood After School Program or UASP was founded in 1982 by several parents in the Underwood After School. The program was established to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children in grades K to 5 after the school day ends and before their parents pick them up from work.

The primary goal of the program is to meet the individual needs of children by offering flexibility within a structured, stimulating environment. The program offers a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, music, drama, sports, games, and field trips. In addition, the children's experience is enriched by allowing the opportunity for interaction with both younger and older children.

The Underwood After School Program is staffed by a group of professionals with wide ranging backgrounds, working together for the care, concern, and enrichment of the children in the program.
