About Us
The Sate of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit based in Austin. Our mission is to increase the recycling rate throughout Texas in the most environmentally and economically sustainable way. We are a membership based organization with a network that spans the length of the recycling industry spectrum, including materials processors, businesses and cities both large and small, as well as other non-profit organizations.
