About us

CASA of Peoria County is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains, and supervises community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected children who are wards of the stae and most often in foster care. Our mission is to help these children achieve permanence -- whether through a return to their family or via adoption or guardianship -- as quickly as possible. The primary focus of our volunteers is to advocate for the best interest of the child in Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Court.
