About Us
The Friends of Clermont is a nonprofit organization located
on the grounds of Clermont, a State-owned historic site in New York’s scenic Hudson
Valley. The mission of the Friends of Clermont is to support the improvement
and development of Clermont State Historic Site, plan and manage cultural and educational
programs in partnership with New York State personnel, and provide financial
support to otherwise promote and interpret Clermont for the benefit of the
public and posterity.
