About Us

JOS run inclusive workshops and manufacture specialised equipment to enable people who might otherwise be excluded from participating in the arts, whilst also engaging and vitalising the fundamental support networks around them. The JOS portfolio of specially commissioned and inclusively made bespoke instruments are used to provide access to people whose participation in playing music would otherwise be limited. These along with a variety of techniques designed to enable and inspire all participants to contribute, are used by a group of experienced facilitators to demonstrate that it is playing collectively that produces harmonious success. We are unaware of any other organisation working in this way globally. The workshops present a novel and beneficial method of group interplay and can have an immediate cathartic effect on all. Empowerment, enablement, communication and integration through joyful and equal participation are at the root of our practice.
