City Lights Theater Company

City Lights Theater Company nourishes the San Jose Silicon Valley area by providing innovative, award-winning and affordable live theatre. A non-profit organization, the Company produces a season of six plays per year, along with special programs (the New Play Reader’s Series, the Spotlight Series, the Youth & Education Program and the Jazz Showcase) in the Company’s intimate 108-seat performance venue. The Company is committed to presenting exhilarating, challenging plays that speak eloquently to its audiences. In addition, City Lights is widely regarded as a nurturing space in which many emerging theatre artists have the opportunity to develop their skills alongside seasoned professionals.
