Goshen Valley Boys Ranch Foundation

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is a Christian, beautiful 160 acre wooded ranch in Waleska, GA that houses 42 young men ages 11-19 in the foster care system. Goshen stands for a quality environment for youth in foster care with a focus on spiritual growth, recreation, education and independent living skills development. GVBR was founded in 2000 and has served over 225 youth.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch includes 6 homes with 7 children each. GVBR believes in the family model, (a model where married couples parent children within a household). Each Goshen Valley housecouple is responsible for the upbringing of the 7 young men in their home. Houseparents cook, create house rules, provide transportation, facilitate medical and dental appointments, take children to church and oversee the boys' well-being. By experiencing a positive family environment, it is the goal of Goshen Valley that these young men in the foster care system would learn how to love and be loved in a healthy way and be equipped with the skills to have healthy families themselves one day.
