COMMON BOND INSTITUTE

CBI is a Non-Government Organization that organizes and sponsors international conferences, relief projects, and training projects in conflict resolution and transformation. The largest of which is the ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONFLICT RESOLUTION held each May in St. Petersburg, Russia: A multi-disciplinary/multi-cultural conference that has been supported by President Clinton, Former President Yeltsin, St. Petersburg Governor Jakovlev, and endorsed by 60 leading-edge organizations internationally - open to all individuals interested in developing and practicing personal/professional conflict resolution skills. This joint US/Russian event FOCUSES ON all aspects of conflict resolution and transformation, from the intrapersonal - to the interpersonal - to relationships between groups, organizations, cultures, and societies - and ultimately between us and other species. New efforts include the Balkan Recovery Project and Balkan Psychological Association.
