Fostering Hope Foundation

Our mission is to support and affirm foster parents in their task of caring for neglected and abused children. We do this by finding volunteers through the faith community to team together and support one foster family in their numerous tasks required by the foster care system. Foster parents are often isolated, burned out and unappreciated. Foster parents who care for the most difficult cases (sibling groups, adolescents, or medically fragile children) are a rare commodity and are not persisting. To help them persist, we provide the support they need. The result is better outcomes for foster children, since they are subject to less disruption, more enrichment, and more connection to community resources.
