Greetings from Gharmura Samaj Unnayan Club.It is Situated in the southernmost corner of Assam in North East India. The distance of the state capital Guwahati from the district Head Quarter is 330 KM. It is a secular, non-profit and a non-governmental organization. Since long in the dimension of its welfare related program, the voluntary org is rendering various types of services to the society notedly for economical growth & development of the people both in rural & urban sector. It is in deed a promising sincere effort that at gsuc playing a vital role in evaluating and monitoring the projects run under the grants – in – aid of governmental departments.GSUC provides support to various activities which have high credibility ratings, to run service projects for the growth & development for the people of rural areas. These projects are continuously evaluated and monitored. We also set up modules mainly to promote the environmental activities of rural development. To disseminate environmental information through the public to organize workshops and seminars for environmental experts, policy makers, individuals and organizations working for environmental issues. Their activities include researching the role in community forestry and rural development planting fast growing trees. Recently, We are interested to participate in various programme like women’s development &child care, AIDS control & prevention of substance abuse, housing, health and sanitation, agriculture, animal welfare and youth development. For this reason we are trying to communicate with various funding agencies at national & international label to focus the activities on rural areas undertaken by gsuc. To promote various schemes for developmental program & make a pleasant atmosphere to rural as well as urban people.
