About us

The Childhood Domestic Violence Association works to help those who experience Childhood Domestic Violence break the cycle and reach their full potential. 5 million children experience domestic violence in the U.S. every year and 40 million adults who were these children a generation or two ago still live with the falsehoods, emotional scars, or behavioral challenges. UNICEF calls it "one of the most pervasive human rights issues of our time," yet there is currently less than 10% awareness of this issue. The Association seeks to help those impacted by building universal awareness and developing and deploying practical, truly scalable solutions and tools, accessible with few barriers, that can help the greatest number of people possible. We're currently the only organization solely focused on the issue whose plan of action combines these two premises.
