About Us

Social and Environmental Justice Themed Summer Camp

Hidden Villa is a 1,600 acre organic farm and wilderness preserve located 45 minutes south of San Francisco, CA. We hire 55 seasonal staff every summer and our mission is to create young leaders committed to environmental and social justice with the tools to make change in their communities.

65 years ago we became the first multiracial summer camp in the country. Today we have fun with diverse youth on our farm and in the back country while shaping the next generation of young, multicultural leaders. A typical day at camp includes singing, farm chores, fun activities and experiential programming that focus on topics like race, class, gender, sexuality, food justice, and so much more. This isn't just another summer job, it's a job that impacts our world.

We look to recruit a staff which is as economically, culturally, and ethnically diverse as our program participants. People of color, LGBTQQ, and multilingual folks are encouraged to apply. Check out our website for more information, including detailed job descriptions and applications: http://www.hiddenvilla.org/camp.php.
