Our mission is to promote academic, athletic, and personal growth through a program of individual academic support/tutoring, squash instruction, health and fitness instruction, and community service.
The SquashDrive academic program focuses on individualized homework help and academic enrichment. We make it educational and fun at the same time!
Team members participate in SquashDrive activities three hours a day, three days a week throughout the school year. The squash program consists of on-court instruction and practices. Nutrition and fitness is also an important part of the program.
The SquashDrive community service program provides our students the opportunity to build community pride and involvement through a range of volunteer outings. Each SquashDrive team member will participate in a minimum of ten hours of community service per year. Last year we partnered with and participated in the Oakland Running Festival, Keep Oakland Beautiful and Save the Bay. Please see our calendar page for upcoming Community Service Events!
SquashDrive is partnering with Berkley Maynard Academy in Oakland. We have 37 students in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in our program!
One day a week practice will be held at the University Club in San Francisco. The other practices are held at University at California Berkeley's Recreational Sports Facility.
