DS Action

DS Action, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, investigates and implements solutions to enhance the lives of persons with Down syndrome. DS Action partnered with Rady Children's Hospital to establish the first Down Syndrome Center in Southern California. The Center benefits children with Down syndrome by offering multidisciplinary assessments, recommendations and case management, by a team of medical specialists. Over 900 patients and their families have attended the Down Syndrome Center since its opening on January 15th, 2008. DS Action is a true grass-roots organization, having been founded by parents, care givers, medical professionals, teachers and business professionals. We are proud to share that our operations are completely managed and supported by volunteers, including our Board of Directors. We have minimal overhead, which allows for proceeds from fundraising efforts to go directly toward supporting the Down syndrome community.
