  • About Us

Students Partnership Worldwide (SPW) is a non-government, non-profit organisation that brings together groups of 18-28 year olds from both the ‘developed’ world and the ‘developing’ world. Together, we work towards sustainable responses to social and ecological issues, such as poverty, HIV/AIDS and environmental degradation. Volunteers from Australian take part in educational and environmental programmes in rural communities in India,Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and South Africa. These volunteers are trained with local counterparts, and are then placed at the centre of community life. SPW Australia is responsible for recruiting volunteers from Australia and New Zealand and provides training, fundraising, awareness-raising, and de-briefing.
