The Salvation Army- Centralia

The Salvation Army is motivated by a Love for God! And a concern for the needs of all humanity.
We are excited to have a farm on property, the 'Cultivating Youth Farm'. This program enables us to work with youth in the community; whether it be teens working off required community service hours for the Juvenile Center, high schoolers, and young adults from the local college. We are growing healthy food to be distributed at the food ban on site. We're looking for community support! In terms of time, assistance in sustaining the program, and we're always welcoming monetary contributions. 
 In addition to our farm, we are recruiting volunteers to assist in potential gleaning opportunities around the southwest WA area. Our goal is to decrease food waste and promote healthy and nutritious food throughout the Lewis County Food Bank Coalition!
