Seattle Police Department Victim Support Team

VST is a unique partnership between community volunteers and the Seattle Police Department. The program is designed to address the gap in services during the weekend to domestic violence victims between the time patrol officers respond to a call to the time advocates, detectives, and prosecutors make contact with the victim for follow up. VST volunteers provide crisis intervention, emergency resources and referrals to domestic violence victims and their children on the weekend in the time immediately following police response to a 911 domestic violence call.

We hold two Academies annually. The first in the fall, normally falling around October, and the second is in the spring, this year in May. Please let me know which Academy you would be interested in attending.
