National Alliance on Mental Illness 5K Walk

  • About Us

Mental Illness affects one in four families and NAMI’s mission is to provide support and education to those in the community living with the long list of mental illnesses including Bi-Polar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, and Schizophrenia.

The NAMIWalk event is the largest free mental health event in the Bay Area and raises funds for the seven area NAMI affiliates. The funds raised underwrite the No-Cost support, education and awareness programs offered throughout the Bay.

Over 3000 people will participate in the 11th annual NAMIWalk event on May 30th in Golden Gate Park including mental health providers, law enforcement, family members and those living with mental illness.
