R.O.L.E. Foundation

Rivers, Oceans, Lands and Ecology (R.O.L.E.) Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian organisation whose aim is to improve the education, wellbeing and self-reliance of people living in underprivileged circumstances, whilst ensuring environmental resilience and sustainability.

Since 2007, we have provided free education, skills training programs and grassroots community assistance to help alleviate poverty and ensure environmental sustainability for a happier, healthier future. Our students come from disadvantaged, low-income and at-risk families from all over Bali and Indonesia.

R.O.L.E. Foundation is firmly committed to progress towards Millennium Development Goal #3: Promote Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women. Working to achieve this goal is a key aim of the Foundation’s activities through the BaliWISE program.

R.O.L.E. is also working towards Millennium Development Goal #7: Ensure Environmental Sustainability. The Foundation incorporates environmental awareness, education and direct action through all its programs.
