About us

The Family Empowerment Program of Clackamas County provides at-risk families with support from community volunteers. The program focuses on family strengths and resources, provides a "family friend" to assist the family in achieving it's goals and eliminate or reduce the affects of chronic poverty. The program combines the resources of Services to Children and Families, the Department of Human Services, and AmeriCorps*VISTA to help families achieve self-sufficiency.
