About us

Project Self-Sufficiency is a private, nonprofit community based organization incorporated in 1986 to help low-income single parents, two-parent families, teen parents and displaced homemakers residing in Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey to attain economic self-sufficiency. We offer a comprehensive range of services under one roof, including job training and placement, careering and assessment, counseling and case management, legal education, life skills management training, information, referral and advocacy, childcare assistance, basic needs assistance, home visitation services, after school programs, and more. We believe in empowering individuals to make positive changes that will improve their own lives and the lives of their children.
