Meridian Health was formed in 1997 by combining Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC), Ocean Medical Center (OMC), and Riverview Medical Center (RMC). Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of the residents of New Jersey by providing quality, patient-centered health care services delivered in hospital, community, and in-home settings, and to advancing medicine through clinical education and research.
