New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Inc. (NJVLA) provides legal education, representation, and other legal services to the entire state's Arts Community, and in particular to low-income artists and small non-profit arts and cultural organizations. NJVLA provides its legal services and referrals to individual artists as well as arts and cultural organizations throughout the State of New Jersey that have arts-related legal problems.
Since NJVLA's inception in 2005, pro bono attorneys volunteering their services through NJVLA have provided nearly 5,000 hours of their time, valued at more than $1.25 million, directly to the members of the Arts Community of the great Garden State.
