FORUM DE PATOLOGIAS DO ESTADO DE SAO PAULO

Founded in 1995, the FORUM DE PATOLOGIAS DO ESTADO DE SAO PAULO (FOPESP), is an umbrella organization which gather almost 100 patients'organizations within the State of São Paulo, SP, Brazil. In 1996, together with professionals, State authorities and good-will people we produced a "Patients'Bill of Rights" that was transformed in State Law in 2000. Our major conquest. Weekly meetings discuss all problems introduced by representatives of organization members. We organize events with the major purpose of teaching our society details of each one of the pathologies represented. We also participate at Medical School Courses of Social Medicine. We believe our efforts reached our target.
