Free Library of Philadelphia Volunteer Services

The Free Library of Philadelphia believes that volunteers can support and enhance its services to the citizens of Philadelphia in important ways. By becoming a volunteer for the Free Library, citizens are given an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the library system and their community. Therefore, we will recruit a diverse and competent corps of volunteers to increase the effectiveness of existing library services, and foster closer integration between the library system and the individual communities served.
