The mission of Literacy Volunteers of the National Capital Area (LVA-NCA) is to change the lives of adults with literacy needs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. LVA-NCA exists to empower those who currently cannot read or write to achieve, through increased literacy, theuir educational, professional, and personal goals.
