The Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, AFL-CIO, is the first and only national organization of Asian Pacific American union members and labor activists. APALA has emerged as a voice for APA workers in the labor movement, in the APA community, and in the national public policy arena.
APALA volunteer chapters across the country help APA workers organize to better their lives; advocate for worker rights, immigrant rights and civil rights; and help bridge the labor movement and the APA community.
APALA also recruits and trains APA activists to be labor organizers. We have an annual Organizers Training for APA's interested in a career in social justice.
