N.C. Center for Nonprofits

The N.C. Center for Nonprofits serves as a statewide network for nonprofit boards and staffs, an information center on effective practices, and an advocate for the nonprofit sector as a whole. Our mission is to encourage support for the nonprofit sector and enhance the capacity of nonprofits to serve the people of North Carolina. We offer services directly to all sizes and types of 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and we work closely with other local, state, and national groups that assist nonprofits.

Our goals are to help nonprofits acheive their goals in the communities they serve; provide access to high-quality information on effective practices; foster communication and cooperation among nonprofits; help them cut operating costs; enhance public recognition of the value of the nonprofit sector; and advocate on issues that affect 501(c)(3) nonprofits' capacity to address community needs.
